Cara draws on her experience from diverse domestic projects at a legacy firm, skillfully showcasing specialties in construction management, schedule management, and cost estimating within her current project portfolio. Her technical expertise includes contract management, procurement, and team member training. Cara’s vast project experience with healthcare facilities, federal needs, offices, hotels, and residential mixed-use buildings has allowed her to expand her skills in developing and managing scopes of work, punch lists, developing schedules, and analyzing documents and proposals.

Throughout her career, Cara has evolved her responsibilities from project engineering to preconstruction management. Cara assesses and performs various cost models and project delivery methods including design-build, lump sum hard bid, negotiating GMP, progressive GMP, and CMAR. Along with this experience, she has managed complex bids and coordinated operations teams for numerous projects. She has worked on projects ranging from $10 million to over $500 million. Cara has worked closely with project owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery. Cara excels in adapting to shifting schedules, costs, and scopes, making her an essential force in identifying solutions to propel ongoing projects forward.

Cara’s preconstruction and construction experience includes projects that have spanned both Private and Federal spaces including, but not limited to, a $600 million Convention Center in TX; a $500 million Airport Renovation & Expansion project in TX; a $500 million Hospital Renovation & Expansion project in MD; a $225 million Detention Center in MO; a $150 million Healthcare Research Building Renovation in MD; a $110 million Residential Mixed-Use Building in GA; and a $75 million Military Training Facility in TX.
