Akshaya Iyer, PSP

Vice President

Demonstrates robust project experience, delivers advanced scheduling capabilities, and provides expert perspective on complex construction disputes.

Akshaya Iyer brings 10+ years of experience in construction management and project controls in both private and government sectors. On the proactive front, Akshaya works with general contractors and subcontractors to conduct constructability reviews that aid in the development and execution of baseline schedules. This role extends to
leading construction program management and claims avoidance techniques.

During project construction, Akshaya leads the charge of creating and updating as-built schedules based on change orders, RFIs, email correspondence, and other documents. She delivers periodic updates and reports monthly progress on schedules while also preparing time impact evaluations. Adept at conversing with owners and general contractors, Akshaya also advises client teams on how to read and use the schedules she prepares, educates them on scheduling best practices, and provides training to transition them to relevant scheduling software.

Akshaya’s involvement in developing and preparing claim evaluations and client positions has naturally advanced her role in providing legal expertise and support for dispute cases involving commercial, residential, educational, industrial, infrastructure, and healthcare projects. She specializes in cases regarding schedule delays, disruptions, accelerations, quantification of damages, and payment claims.

Throughout her career, Akshaya has worked on the $454 million Residences at The Allen in Houston, TX; the $90 million LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA; the $64 million Camber Ranch development in Austin, TX; the $60 million St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA; and the $22 million 731 St. Charles Avenue build in New Orleans, LA.
